Designer - Developer
Born and raised in Canada, by parents from Guyana, South America. I am an artist and I have always loved to create, design and build. I fell in love with marketing and merchandising, product development and branding when I did a Fashion Management Degree in the heart of Toronto at George Brown College. After moving to Florida, this love lead me to doing a Graphic Design Degree at Valencia State College.
I have worked as a designer for the last 15 years and I have won various awards for design, and other visual arts. Over the years I would work on a few websites creating graphics and doing basic html editing. I started feeling limited in my ability to execute in projects I wanted to be involved in.
I realized I was missing important toolsets that would help me to create, design and build in a way I desired too. For this reason, I went back to school to learn to code and become a Software Developer. I am currently enrolled at Seminole State College (PT) in the Information Systems program and I have just completed my course of study at UCF's Coding Boot Camp where I received a Certificate in Fullstack Web Development.
My Graphic Design skills coupled with my Web Development skills have given me great appreciation for what goes into the process of media and app development, from concept to completion and from the front end to the back. I look forward to learning more, and developing Top Notch apps!
